Jotkut teistä ehkä muistavat vuonna 2005 alkaneen ihanan foorumin nimeltä Taika-Akatemia Illumine osoitteessa http://taika-akatemia.net/ Foorumi oli todella aktiivinen, lämminhenkinen ja mukava, mutta sitten itselläni ei ollut enää aikaa ylläpitää sitä, ja sen toiminta nuupahti pikkuhiljaa.

Laitoin juuri ryhmäsähköpostin kaikille edelleen foorumin kirjoilla oleville. Kerroin siinä, että Taika-Akatemian tyhjennys alkaa pian, ja että kannattaa käydä tallentamassa omia tärkeitä viestejä, jos siellä semmoisia sattuisi olemaan. Siirrän osan foorumin aiheista tänne sekä tänne: http://auraillumina.blogspot.com/ Itseasiassa Tähtitiedon luokka = Astronomy Tower siirtyi jo tuonne Blogspotin blogiin ja lupailin siinä auliisti tehdä muutamia astrologisia julkkisprofiileita ja selvittää astrologisesti yhteensopivuutta jonkun julkkiksen kanssa (jos joku sitä toivoo) ja (mikä tietenkin paljon mielenkiintoisempaa) määritellä todellisen Tylypahkan tuvan (nehän perustuvat neljään elementtiin ja astrologiselta kartalta näkee helposti mitä niistä on eniten) ja suojeliuksen. Sehän määrittyy henkilön sisimmän olemuksen mukaan, ja siten myös nähtävissä syntymäkartalta.

 

Vaikka ihan täysin yskon ja luotan siihen, että tätä blogia lukevat vain älykkäät ja hyväntahtoiset ihmiset, niin usein kuitenkin vain sanan "astrologia" mainitseminen saa joidenkin ihmisten jollei aivot, niin ainakin käytöstavat kaikkoontumaan taivaan tuuliin. Jos joku käy tähän nyt kommentoimaan ihan mitä tahansa miljoonaan kertaan jyrsittyä skeptikko-materiaalia, niin tiedoksi: OLET VÄÄRÄSSÄ PAIKASSA. Tämä on leikkimielistä, viihdyttävää, Harry Potter-maailmaan liittyvää harrastelua. En aio vastata mihinkään provosoiviin väitteisiin, vaan poistan kaikki siihen vivahtavatkaan kommentit silmiä pyöritellen.

Hih. Hauskinta tietysti tässä on se, että eihän kukaan juurikaan koskaan kirjoita mitään kommentteja tänne. Että siinähän uhoan. *virnistelyä*

 

]]> 2009-02-26T09:18:01+02:00 2019-08-08T04:58:33+03:00 https://auran.vuodatus.net/lue/2009/02/taika-akatemia-lakkautetaan Auran https://auran.vuodatus.net/ <![CDATA[Fanfiction- ja blogipäivityksiä tiedossa]]> Ihan nopeasti tässä vaan tiedottelen, että olen perustanut uuden, englanninkielisen blogin osoitteeseen http://auraillumina.blogspot.com/ Tällä hetkellä siellä on vain kaksi alkuperäistä, englanninkielistä ficciäni (Gentle Rain ja The Last Words of Sirius Black), jotka viime yönä korjasin ja uudelleen muokkasin kokonaan. Itseasiassa oli ihana paneutua vuosien jälkeen tuohon ihka ensimmäiseen ficciini. Ajatella että sen kirjoittamisesta on jo viisi vuotta! Ja oli kiva huomata näin vuosien jälkeen, että sehän oli ihan kelvollinen. Se on selkeästi parempi alkuperäisellä kielellään kuin suomeksi väkerrettynä.

Tästä kaikesta innostuneena aloin vihdoin kääntää englanniksi myös Sielujen Puutarhaa. Monet nyt murisevat että mitä sitä suotta tuhlaamaan aikaa keskeneräisen ficin kääntämiseen, kun voisi sitä kauan odotettua jatkoakin alkaa julkaisemaan. Niin, niin... Matkustin viikonloppuna pitkään junalla, ja yllätin itsenikin raapustamalla kassista löytyneeseen vihkoon uuden luvun ja koko ficin loppukäänteet yksityiskohtia myöten. Siis valmiiksi sitä ei tietenkään ole kirjoitettu. Siihen ei yhdeksän saati kuusi tuntia riitä, mutta tuli pitkästä aikaa sellainen tunne, että sain ideasta taas kiinni pitkästä aikaa.

Käyn siis tänään ruotimaan tuota vihkoa ja sinne väkertämiäni hieroglyfejä, että josko sieltä jotain saisi punottua kasaan, ja juttu jatkuisi toivotulla tavalla...

 

Kiitos vielä kaikille teille rakkaat, jotka olette jaksaneet muistutella olemassa olostanne ja siitä, että Sielujen puutarhan uudet luvut vielä jaksaisivat kiinnostaa. Se on uskomatonta, ja jaksaa vielä puhaltaa liekkiä tähän vanhaan tarinaan.

Olen vakavasti sitä mieltä, että Twilight-sarjan kaltaisten kirjojen kansissa pitäisi olla samanlaisia varoituksia kuin tupakka-askien kyljissä.

Jotain tuollaista ehkä... Sanoisin, että suurimmassa riskiryhmässä ovat tosiaan nämä (me) aikuiset naiset, joilla olisi oikeasti muutakin elämää ja velvollisuuksia kuin pyöritellä päässään kohtauksia Twilightista, ja myös teini-ikäiset tytöt, jotka eivät ikinä tule kelpuuttamaan ketään kumppanikseen, koska kukaan ei koskaan voi vetää vertoja Edwardille...

Tietysti suhtauduin skeptisesti tähän amerikkalaiseen, teinivampyyriromantiikkaan, mutta pelkäsin silti että jäisin koukkuun. (Muita riippuvuuksiahan minulla ei olekaan kuin kiehtovat fiktiiviset hahmot.) Ja hartaana Harry Potter-fanina en voinut välttyä vertailemasta näitä kahta maailmaa. Pottereissa minua kiehtoo itse  maailma, potter-universum, kaikkine uskomattomine yksityiskohtineen sekä juoni. Tarina on kiehtova, älykäs, taitavasti eri kulttuurien ja aikakausien mytologiaa yhdistelevä ja moniulotteinen. Toki joukossa on muutamia erityisen kiinnostavia henkilöitäkin, Severus Snape, Luna Lovegood, Fred and George Weasley, Dolores Umbridge ja Gilderoy Lockhart sekä tietysti Albus Dumbledore ja Tom Riddle muutamia mainitakseni. Kiinnostavia, hienosti rakennettuja tyyppejä. Mutta Twilight... (mikä se on suomeksi? Houkutus?)

Siinä missä Harry Potter on kuin päivä Viistokujalla katsellen ihmisten kulkua ristiin rastiin piipahdellen toinen toistaan uskomattomampiin kauppoihin kuunnellen mitä kiehtovimpia tarinoita ohitse kulkevien ihmisten elämästä ja siitä, miten merkillisesti ne risteytyvät ja sivuavat toisiaan luoden yhdessä loistavan loogisen kokonaisuuden, kuin rohkelikkojen oleskeluhuoneen seinällä oleva satoja vuosia vanha ja edelleen upea kuvakudos. NO TULIPAS PITKÄ LAUSE, siis siinä missä Potterit ovat minulle tuota, niin Houkutus / Twilight on kuin koulun juhlasali, joka on ehkä täynnä ihmisiä, mutta tuntuu kuin siellä olisi vain kaksi, Edward ja Bella, kynttilän valossa, lähestymässä toisiaan, latauksen kasvaessa lähes sietämättömiin mittasuhteisiin, toisen käsi kohoaa hipaisemaan toisen kasvoja kuin hidastetussa elokuvassa, katsekontakti on katkeamaton, hiljaisuus rikkomaton, sanoinkuvaamaton vatsaa kouristava jännite kasvaa vieläkin suuremmaksi kuin olisi voinut odottaa, sähkövirta kipinöin pitkin hermoratoja, ja kaikkea ympäröi intensiivinen, kaikennielevä, paatoksellinen RAKKAUS. Ei tuota voi kestää! Ei voi jättää kirjaa kesken, ei voi muuta kuin vetäytyä omaan kammioonsa lukemaan hartaudella ääneen vuorosanoja tietyistä kohtauksista, kaikki tunteet muuttuvat omiksi tunteiksi, minä olen Bella, olen Edward, olen... koukussa.

Hemmetti.

Ja ikuinen sisäinen teinini heittää tyynyllä sitä, joka uskaltaa tulla huoneeseeni kesken lauseen (siis milloin tahansa niin kauan kuin kirja on kesken), "joo, joo, kohta, mene nyt, laita ovi kiinni" siinä kaikki suullisen ilmaisuni anti viimeiseen vuorokauteen. Ei puhettakaan että voisi nukkua. Saati syödä. Alan haluta olla vampyyri. En ole koskaan ollut järin innostunut syömisestä, se on niin vaivalloista, ja sotkuista, ja tylsää... Sen sijaan alan arvuutella lähimmäisteni veren koostumusta. Hmm... miltäköhän tuon tyypin veri maistuisi. Hyvä on, hyvä on, myönnetään, minulla on aina ollut viehtymystä vampyyreihin. Ja mitä oikeasti poikkeuksellisiin aistiyliherkkyyksiini ja varsinkin uskomattomaan (toisinaan painajaismaiseen) hajuaistiini tulee puhumattakaan verestäni puuttuvista harvinaisista tekijöistä ja jatkuvasta anemiasta... Vampyyrien sukua siis.

Parasta tässä kaikessa on varmaan ollut kuitenkin se, että kun olen lukenut, en ole voinut olla tietokoneella. Se on erinomaista vaihtelua. Ja vielä se, että jos tarpeeni saada järjesteltyä tämä asuinpaikkani mahdollisimman siistiksi, valoisaksi ja tyhjäksi (Cullenien kartano...), saa parhaimmillaan vietyä finaaliin pitkään käynnissä olleen projektini luopua kaikesta turhasta ja ylimääräisestä roinasta (kuten muutamasta sadasta kirjasta).

Sitä paitsi, mietin vakaasti Facebook-ryhmän perustamista nimellä: "I have loved Futhering Heights, Debussy's Claire de la Lune and Jane Austen long before I ever fell in love with Edward Cullen and the Twilight."

Severus pysyy hyvin hahmossaa, Remus Lupinilla on suhteellisen iso rooli ja Malfoy-fanitkin saavat nautiskella muutamista herkullisista Lucius-kohtauksesta ja Hermionen ja Dracon välisestä suhteesta. Erityismainintana: jos pidät kissoista, Douglas Adamsista (Linnunradan liftaajan käsikirja) ja horrorista, niin rakastat tätä. Ficci sisältää nimittäin paljon kissoja, lainauksia edellä mainitusta kirjasta ja... vertahyytävän kauhistuttavia kohtauksia ihmissuden ja zombien kanssa. Happy end.

Kuten tiedät, olen käyttänyt useita kymmeniä tunteja (huolimatta siitä että olisi oikeasti paljon tärkeämpiäkin asioita JA siitä, että silmäni ovat alkaneet oireilla ikävästi liiallisesti tietokoneen tuijottamisesta) rakkaan ficcin 'Sielujen puutarha' kirjoittamiseen, editoimiseen ja korjaamiseen. Tänäänkin ahersin sen ääresä pitkälti yli normaalin työpäivän pituisen ajan, ja sitten kaikki katosi.

Tämä on jotenkin niin mystistä ja outoa, mutta se ei poista sitä tosiseikkaa, että olo on ihan musertunut. Olin kirjoittamassa uutta, korjattua kappaletta lukuun 23, kun yhtäkkiä kaikki teksti katosi, word-tiedoston nimeksi muuttui 'Asiakirja1' ja koko ficci oli kuin pois pyyhkäisty koko tietokoneelta. Säästän sinut sen tarkemmilta yksityiskohdilta, mutta viime aikaiset tapahtumat ovat antaneet aihetta epäillä, että joku muukin pääsee käsiksi tietokoneeni sisältöön, yhtä aikaa minun kanssani. Monta kertaa on käynyt niin, että kun olen esimerkiksi yrittänyt siirtää tai poistaa jotain tiedostoa, saan ilmoituksen että se ei ole mahdollista, koska tiedosto on avoinna jossain muussa sovelluksessa. Mutta kun ei ole. Ja nyt tämä... Silmieni edessä elämäntyöni vain pyyhkiytyi pois ja katosi niin kuin sitä ei koskaan olisi ollutkaan. Hyvä on, ehkä dramatisoin tilannetta taas tapani mukaan, sillä kyllähän netissä on luettavissa erinäisiä versioita tästä teoksesta. Mutta kun olin juuri tarkastanut suurennuslasin kanssa joka ikisen lauseen, joka ikisen pilkun, pisteen ja lainausmerkin, ja mikä pahinta, olin kirjoittanut monia kohtia uusiksi, lisännyt kappaleita, yhdistänyt ja muokannut toisia... Ja nyt se on poissa.

Nyt minulla ei ole oikeastaan enää mitään sanottavaa.

Surettaa.

Syön vähän (paljon) suklaajäätelöä ja kaivan jostain jonkun sitäkin herkullisemman ficin kyytipojaksi. Kai se katkeruuden maku niillä eväillä peittyy. Edes vähän.

(Kuin vastauksena epätoivoiseen huutoon kovan kohtaloni ikeessä ovikello soi ja naapurikoulun tytöt tulivat myymään herkkuja kerryttääkseen varoja luokkaretkikassaansa. 'Pikkuveljen toffeemakeiset' saavat jalon tehtävän liittyessään suklaajäätelön ja ficin seuraan lohduttaessaan minua. Kyllä tämä tästä.)
